Cure 1st Press NZ LP Boy’s don’t cry NM 1981 Stunn STUN010 Post Punk
Original 1st press New Zealand LP released in 1981 on Stunn REcords. Cat: STUN 010.Falling somewhere between official release and compilation, Boys Don't Cry was released in February 1980 in hopes of increasing the band's exposure outside of the U.K. It captures the first phase of the band well, showcasing the angular new wave that had garnered them acclaim in England. The major difference separating this from the debut full-length (and thus qualifying it as an "official" release) is that unlike Three Imaginary Boys, the first three singles ("Killing an Arab," "Boys Don't Cry," and "Jumping Someone Else's Train") are included.

There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover is in Near Mint condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
