UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP ON 'LARGE' VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL SWIRL POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE.

Daddy Longlegs was a strange hybrid of folk, psychedelia and country-rock. Excellent musicianship and quirky songs that were perhaps less off-the-wall than the Incredible String Band, Daddy Longlegs had a more 'rootsy' execution with a country tinge.  If you like the Incredible String band and other folk-psych bands you will probably love this album as well.  'Oakdown Farm' is definately the band's finest work, and is housed in a sleeve that is nearly as iconic as the Affinity album on the same label. Like many of these Vertigo swirls, it sold barely anything at the time and has become very collectable in recent years.

MATRIX NUMBERS IN RUN-OFF GROOVES: SIDE A: 6360038 1Y//1 1 5 / SIDE B: 6360038 2Y//1 1 1

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+, JUST SHORT OF EXCELLENT MINUS DUE TO LIGHT SHELF AND EDGE WEAR, TWO TOP CORNER BUMPS - OTHERWISE A SUPERB SLEEVE WITH NO SPINE FADE. INNER SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD+.

DISC: EXCELLENT. NO MARKS, NO SCRATCHES, NO SPINDLE WEAR. THIS COPY LOOKS ALMOST NEW, SHINY VINYL THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED, IF IT HAS IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT. CLEAN LABELS BOTH SIDES. WE SPOT-CHECKED A FEW PLACES AND IT IS AN AWESOME PLAYING COPY WITH SUPERB AUDIO. NO DETRIMENTAL SURFACE NOISES. This album is rare enough to find in any condition, but aside from a few minor sleeve defects, you will be hard-pressed to find a better copy than this - a true keeper that you will not need to upgrade again.
