Description
Jeden Dienstag zwischen 19 und 20 Uhr werde ich alte Punk, Oi, Hardcore und Powerpop Platten anbieten
Punk (!) Punk (!) Punk (!). Superclean original first pressing. Sleeve and vinyl are just like when you got it in 1977 (you’ll be the 2nd owner!). This rarity will be the showpiece of any serious DAMNED collection. You are bidding on the legendary gig freebie from July 1977. Their famous giveaway 7“ was never a general release. ‘Have You Got A Problem? You Are a STRETCHER CASE BABY’ is an amazing singalong cracker, topped with wild flipped-out guitar riffs, and a different take to the version that appeared on the band’s ‘Music For Pleasure’ LP. The same sold on eBay, in January, for £173 and in February 2009 £141 (UK). Also ‘Sick Of Being Sick’, a real jewel, was covered by several punk bands because it is such a classic song. It should also be noted that ‘Sick Of Being Sick’ was not from the band’s Shel Talmy produced session, but is actually an edit of their May 1977 John Peel session take. The single was issued by STIFF RECORDS, a rare find and an original first pressing, and is the last Stiff Records recording by the band as a four piece, as shortly after they recruited Robert ‘Lu’ Edmonds as 2nd guitarist.
