Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Classic single from 1979. Old eBay prices: $195 + £155 + £130. Scarce first German pressing in near mint condition. Every serious DAMNED collector knows that this 'Smash It Up' pressing is extremely hard to find. Differences to the UK pressing are:
-
front of sleeve shows the 'Chiswick' label logo and catalogue number 0037.062 at the top
-
name of the German distributor ‘Metronome’ is printed at the bottom on the front of the cover
-
also, the following phrase printed on the front side of this German jacket ‘From The Album 0067.068 ‘Noise Noise Noise’
-
this German issue was born in much thinner picture sleeve than it's UK counterpart
-
back of the German sleeve has printed ‘SLEEVE BY PHIL SMEE’. As you know, Phil Smee was the label owner of ‘Waldo's’ records. UK issues were only born with the words ‘SLEEVE BY WALDO’S’ on the back
Condition / Zustand: EX/M- (very clean, near mint, sehr gut erhalten)
Postage & Packaging / Porto & Verpackung:
