DAMON - SONG OF A GYPSY released on ANKH (No Selection Number).
Ultra rare original Psych/Folk monster--only 100 copies made of the Textured Gatefold cover with NO selection number.
The textured gatefold cover is VG+: no seam splits, no writing, all 4 corners still sharp and the spine is intact. The textured cover is in excellent condition: minimal wear and the foil stamping is still vibrant. The white inside of the gatefold sleeve has some foxing on the portrait of Damon and ripples where the pages were glued down--this is mainly due to age and most records that are over 40 years old have some foxing if they are white.
The Vinyl grades at VG+: one or two light hairline scratches that could not be heard on playgrading and could only be seen under a bright light. Most of the original gloss and shine is still there. Playgrades at VG++: sounds very clear all the way through with the occasional soft tick. There is some noise in the lead-in wax/dead wax on side one and the lead-in wax/dead wax on side two. Matrix # on side 1 is E-DOT-1/A-968-1 and side 2 is E-DOT-2/A-968-2.
Label has very light spindle marks on both sides that are only noticeable under a bright light. Color of the labels is vibrant and glossy.
Only three copies of this have shown up on eBay over the last 6 years so it will be very hard to find a better copy.
