Description

TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music and more, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more 45's/EP's and LP's to sell - and thank you in advance. Today I'm dipping into my collection of old "TV related records" with this instrumental soundtrack of one of TV's biggest shows from the 1960's, "Batman And Robin". What I find very interesting here is that the "guitar sounds" of Dan and Dale” are actually the sounds of blues guitarists Danny Kalb and Steve Katz (later to be members of the super group, Blood, Sweat & Tears), while Al Kooper apparently manned the organ. This original LP - from 1966 - is self-entitled "Batman And Robin", and is an original, first pressed copy (78002) and the record and jacket are both in outstanding, close to perfect condition, but please read on and check out all of the pictures above. It even comes with it's original and colorful Tifton Records inner sleeve that repeats a showing of the cover's back side picture (see pics). FYI, I will be listing other early TV and movie related LPs in the near future, so if you are a fan of this genre, please bookmark my sight - thank you. LABEL INFO: This original, turquoise colored label (78002) - in mono - is super clean and nice with no issues in need of mentioning at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circles which indicates to me that it had very light play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: The record is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any flaws at all. In my opinion, it looks practically like new and virtually unplayed. JACKET: Finally, this rather attractive looking jacket is also close to perfect condition and shows no serious flaws - perhaps just a couple super small scuff marks in the corner areas. Otherwise, it looks nearly perfect, but please view all the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this original 1966 TV show related album is in great shape and as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not Ebay's), and pay for each item as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are original pressings and in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per album after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $25.00 for this LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
