Description
16 inch, black lacquer acetate, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!
Side one contains approximately 13 minutes of a band remote by "The Dancepators". The disc joins the song "And The Angels Sing" in progress and also includes the songs "The Tinkle Song", "When The Red Red Robin Comes Bob Bob Bobin' Along", "The Masquerade Is Over". All but the first song include an introduction by the announcer. There is no closing announcement but the last song is complete, so I'm not sure if this is the the second half of the remote or a portion in the middle of the remote.
Side two contains 4 songs by Bob Zurke, dubbed from RCA Test Pressings: "Southern Exposure", "Each Time You Say Goodbye" female vocal, "Hobson Street Blues", "It's Me Again" female vocal.
The labels are not attached to the disc and I did not re-attach them as the back sides are interesting, they are CBS labels and I suspect that this material was recorded by CBS. The Dancepators remote sounds like a direct line from broadcast, The Bob Zurke material was dubbed from RCA test pressings.
Disc is in Very Good+ to Excellent- condition with Excellent- sound - this disc sounds better than it looks. There is some damage to the labels which is visible in the scans
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc
