Suite Provencale / La Creation Du Monde

Boston Symphony Orchestra

Charles Munch Conducting

1962 RCA Victor LDS 2625 Living Stereo

12" Vinyl LP Soria Series

This recording is packaged in a heavy/hard cardboard sleeve. The outside jacket cover art is by Fernand Leger. An 11 page insert booklet features the cover art of Paul Cezanne with an additional work from this artist included on page 5.

Milhaud's "La Creation Du Monde" was influenced by his interest in Negro music and jazz. This is a very special recording and, not to be overlooked, is the booklet which was designed by Albert Skira for the Soria Series of RCA Victor Records.
