Dark Mine Fields "Eyes" 7" flexi (Grass Art Music / 1990 / Japan / G.A.M. 004)
Mega-rare!!!! This is a true hidden gem of the Japanese underground new wave history. If you're a serious collector of this genre, you know how awesome their music is and how hard to find their records are. Dark Mine Fields from Osaka, Japan existed during the late '80s to early '90s. Not so much info is available about this obscure band. Only released this 7" flexi and a 4-track 12" in '89. Both are equally rare. There's also a Japanese comp CD from '91 with a track by them. Top-notch darkwave/coldwave/post-punk that reminds me of the old European bands.... Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, you know, the good ol' classic bands from the U.K., France etc. The flexi was released by the unknown Osaka-based label called Grass Art Music.(possibly self released by the band themselves) I think "Grass Art Music" really defines their music style. The thick flexi disc is in Mint condition like new, and the fold-out sleeve is in EX- condition. Comes with an insert. Some interesting things that are worth mentioning.... a member from Inu is credited as a guest recording member for this record. Also, Selfish Records is listed in the Special Thanks list. Selfish was a hc/punk label but also put out some wave/avant type of stuff as well. Check out my other auctions for more records. Will ship internationally. Save postage on the multiple item wins.

International buyers, please note: If you want your item shipped Registered Airmail or EMS, the additional shipping charge will apply. I can't be responsible for the lost or damaged item if shipped unregistered, there'll be no way to track the package and no refund will be given. The U.S. postal service increased the postage cost in January and shipping just one 7" record internationally costs so much more than before. The 2~3+ records shipped together in the same package gives you a better deal on postage.
