Extremely rare edition, only 5000 copies ever made worldwide. Half speed mastered on 200gr pure virgin vinyl and long out of print. The best sounding and manufactured issue of this legendary classic ever made.
 
This copy is in near pristine condition. It is play graded and has some of the static type noises that are common with these types of pressings. There is some recurring noise at the end of Money and goes through the beginning of Us and Them (gone before the sax comes in.) It comes back for three or four minutes again during Brain Damage and goes into Eclipse. Again it is not a loud scratch sound but a more subdued recurring one. Under a direct 60 watt bulb with the right angle you can see light marks where the noise is heard.) Equipment used to grade includes a Well Tempered Clasic turntable with a Grado Signature cartridge, Audio Reseach PH3 phono with Audio Reseach amp and preamp, B&W 802 Matrix speakers.

While this means the record may not be mint the rest of the disc plays great (mint to mint-) and since it is opened you can enjoy it instead of just look at it on the shelf. And what a joy this is to hear!

There is a small blue dot on each label side. This usually indicates that the disc was treated with LAST. (This is a good thing, if you are not familiar with the LAST treatment.) The box has noticable shelf wear including small removed label damage but the corners are still intact and the box retains its integrity The inside has the  two foam inserts. The inside of the front has a pocket that holds the UHQR Certificate of Authenticity and the UHQR Technical Specification Manual (in mint condition.) It is number 3648 pressing made from the master stamper at the The Victor Company of Japan (JVC) in Yokohama, Japan during May, 1981.
