TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another of those early and highly collectible LP`s sung by the great '50's female voices of that time, Darlene Gillespie. Darlene was an original Walt Disney Mouseketeer and many people believe she was the best singer of all Disney recording artists (including Annette Funicello). But whatever, this is an original Walt Disney LP release and contains some great songs from that time, including the hit songs, "Love Me Tendar", "Sittin' In The Balcony" "Come, Go With Me' and 9 others . It was her 1st, and only, album release from way back in 1957, and is yet another album in excellent overall condition, especially the vinyl (please read on). All of this is in MONO, on the purple colored, Disneyland Label - and in very good overall condition (see the pictures above for all of the song titles and more). There is one somewhat strange or unusual item about this piece that begs to be mentioned. The title on the jacket cover is, "Top Tunes Of The '50's", but the record's label is entitled, "Darlene Of The Teens", as the original LP release was entitled. So, I'll let all of you Disney experts and/or bidders sort this out. LABEL INFO: This original, purple colored Disneyland Label (WDL-3010) is nearly perfect with no real serious issues at all - I see only a couple light spindle lines around the center circle, which leads me to believe it had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is very shiny, clean, and nice with no serious flaws to report either - in my opinion the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also primarily fine - especially the all important front side - but does have a couple flaws on the backside which need of a mention here. There are two 4"-5" pieces of scotch tape along both the top and bottom seams - which could easily be removed with today's products. And, there are some light signs of "wear or aging" also on the backside only. The LP's front side looks just fine and I have included as many pictures as possible in the photos above - please check them all out. INTERESTING FACTS: As always, I list my records with no "reserve prices", so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties.
