Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
DARRELL BANKS – OPEN THE DOOR TO YOUR HEART / OUR LOVE (IS IN THE POCKET) – VG
Rare classic soul 45 from 1966. I think the 1st pressing had a solid centre, this has a four prong. Obviously been played quite a lot, but still has great sound. Quite a few sleeve marks and hairlines, but nothing particularly deep. Plays well throughout with no sticks or jumps.
A Side: Very light crackle during the run-in and continuing for first 20 seconds before it fades away. A single click 5 seconds in. Sounds great plays well with just the occasional soft pop – nothing repetitive.
B Side: run-in crackle again, but fine when the music plays. Great sound and plays well with the occasional light background crackle that never really intrudes.
The Stateside company sleeve is in excellent condition although I don’t think it’s the original as the price for record tokens on the back is the cheaper version. Good to have either way.
