Description

DAVE ANDREWS & THE SUGAR
A: I'm On My Way
B: Beatin' Of My Heart
[JEWEL, JL 04, UK]

IMPOSSIBLY RARE UK freakbeat / psych 45 from 1968 on the same tiny label as Mike Stuart Span's elusive "Children Of Tomorrow". This 45 is much more obscure and features two AWESOME sides. The pummeling mod dancer "I'm On My Way" has been comped on "Fairytales Can Come True vol. 2" but still seems to be widely unknown. The flipside is written by Joe Meek and sounds like it was produced by him as well, actually it sounds exactly like Heinz recording of this song. Very weird. Have a listen below! A seriously obscure and incredibly rare 45 that seldom turns up for sale. Reportedly only pressed in 500 copies. The UK Jewel label was owned by Mike Stuart Span. This is in absolutely jawdropping M- condition!

Vinyl condition: M-

SOUNDCLIP:

Double-click on the "play" button above to listen to SOUND CLIPS of both sides! If the player above doesn't work, click HERE to listen to the MP3.
