Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1956 COLUMBIA RECORDS U.S. PROMOTIONAL ONLY 7" 33 RPM RECORD that was prepared especially for attendees of the Music Educators National Conference that took place in St. Louis, Missouri in 1956. It contains a performance of the track titled 'I'm In A Dancing Mood' by The Dave Brubeck Quartet with commentary by Dave Brubeck and George Avakian on the A-side, and rehearsal excerpts from The Columbia Symphony Orchestra, Bruno Walter conducting, on the B-side. It is Columbia Records catalog number ZLP 33111, thick styrene pressing, packaged in its original custom picture sleeve as shown in my accompanying images.
Condition of play surface is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Labels have no real flaws. Condition of custom picture sleeve is VG with small splits in two of its edges, a little age discoloration, some ring wear, and some slight wrinkles.
