The record has no scuffs i can see. I re listened to the record today with a very critical ear and there are occasional pops on side one more than side two but i have heard pops on brand new records so hard to say. Background noise on side one is slightly more than side two and there is more background noise on the first song leadins on both sides but that is normal from my experence. on side two 3/4 of it has background noise is as quiet as a record ever gets in my opinion. of course this depends on how sensative your playback equipment is and how loud you listen to the record. When i have a record i listen to alot i record it on my computer and then remove the background noise an pops with my editing software no record will ever sound better than that and a record recorded in this way sounds better than a cd in my opinion.
