Description
DAVID BOWIE 1971 Hunky Dory Rare US to UK Export 12" Vinyl LP RCA (SF-8244)
David Bowie - Hunky Dory (RCA)
Rare 1971 US pressing of LP made for export to the UK. Although the labels clearly state "Made in USA", they have the UK catalog number of SF-8244, *NOT* the US catalog number of LSP-4623. The cover is a non-laminated UK issue listing the UK catalog number. These export issues were manufactured outside of the UK due to the high demand during a vinyl shortage in the early '70s. Includes two-sided lyric insert. Cover shows light wear, and is creased near the bottom left corner.
Vinyl is in beautiful condition with only some minor light marks.
Condition: Disc VG++, Cover VG++
Important notes about our grading:
We grade conservatively, accurately and honestly. S/S, M, M- (NM), VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, WBR (Poor). We do not use EX (many dealers' EX would be our VG).
