A really nice example of one of the legendary cult records of the  early 70's.  This of course features Bowie in a dress.  This LP did not sell well and features a very fragile textured cover that was not laminated.  Finding the cover in this condition is now very hard to locate.   My grading for this LP is extremely strict and fair (see below).  I believe this to be one of the nicest dress covers that has been offered on E bay.  The sound quality of the LP is superb throughout. 

The Cover....Is in wonderful condition especially for a dress cover.  The colours are clear. unfaded and WITHOUT the usual ring wear.  The spines titles are still readable and clear.   There is some edge wear to the top and bottom but this is pretty much unavoidable with these type of covers, having said that I must stress the wear is not serious. What also makes this dress cover special is that it has no seam splits or tears or nasty creasing.  The cover is still flat and totally in shape finding a dress cover without the usual creasing is MEGA rare).   Also a tiny initial very neatly has been added to the top back right hand side of cover.  This is not easy to spot and I repeat is very tiny and does not detract from the overall appearance of this extremely rare cover.  Please note this is NOT a copy or any kind of counterfeit.  This is the textured original.  I will grade the cover a full excellent condition even with my high standards most would in my opinion graded this higher.  You will be lucky to find a nicer example. A true keepers investment piece. 

The Record....The record plays with superb sound quality throughout, under strong un-shaded light some very light surface resulting from being pulled in and out of inner sleeve.  The record still has its natural gloss and does NOT  have any   deep marks or loud click of pops.  I will grade the record as an extremely strict near excellent as a visual grade (once again most would have graded higher) and plays better than excellent throughout.  The sound of the original pressing has never been beaten.  My grading is so strict and fair I know you would wait a long time before finding a nicer example of this LP.

The labels.....Both labels are stunning, beautiful, bright and crisp without writing, tears or stickers.  The spindle areas show only a few light spindle traces indicating the record has had very few plays.  As you will see by both scans these are top example and I doubt you will find better.

The Inner Sleeve.... This is original and correct for this issue. This is the polylined "plastic bags can be dangerous".  Inner sleeve in  Excellent strong condition,   This is free from seam splits and writing.

We use the UK grading system E.G. /VG / EX / MINT. We also use + and - if there are slight differences between the grades.

**All Records are sent out in plastic covers with the record placed out of the front cover to prevent the cover from getting knifed. All records are sent out in strong mailers with added protection to make sure that they reach you in the condition that they leave here in.**

**For each record or item sent out I will fill out a separate Proof of Postage slip that is date stamped with the address of the destination of the parcel. Insurance will cost extra and is highly recommended, I will not be responsible if this is not taken for items lost in the post. I also will not send to France unless registered postage is taken as it seems the postal system in France is very poor will parcels getting stolen. This is not just me that has had this problem but my friends that also that sell.

**Please note if you cannot make payment within 20 days of auction ending please do not bid as the number of non paying bidders seems to be on the increase. If   there are any problems with sending payment i.e- you on holiday please let me know. I will provide my best service at all times. If payment has not reached me within the 20 days of the auction ending the item will be relisted or sold elsewhere. I am not into giving negative feedback as I feel that this is a childish feature and not my style. It seems some people on this auction site are Trigger Happy with this feature. Check out my feedback. Thank you to most of the customers that I have dealt with in the past two years who know the score. **

** Please read this- If you have been buying from some dealers on ebay who continue to sell records that have been altered or have stickers placed over writing or to hide damage or in a much lesser condition than stated. I would rather sell the record in it's original state rather than cut out pieces of paper to hide the truth. I am also against skimming, steaming and other dirty tricks. I will playgrade all records and do all grading under a 100 watt light bulb which shows the truth. I will be continuously be placing quality items on ebay from now on as I want to build up my customer base. The only things that I want to come back are customers not records. Thank You.**
