Description
This is the very first Bowie Bootleg in the USA Spiders From Mars Tour, Live at the Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica 20/10/1972, the first of a number of versions of this concert, it is the complete concert with the intro and the Ode to Joy. It comes in its blue/white cover with two close-up photos of Bowie front and back. There are no indications of where it comes from it is a true bootleg of the era. There are spelling and title errors in the track list also. The discs deep groove press heavy vinyl, and are white labeled with no track indication or track separations, there are only two magic marker Roman numbers one on each I and III to tell you where your are at. The discs are in excellent shape one or two scuffs and a hairline, very superficial stuff, my native conservatism refuses NM here but it has little play, and plays great for a bootleg. The sleeve is in excellent shape for the flimsy thing it is: a little ring and a small entry tear on the back (1 cm). We of a certain age have seen worse selling new at concerts. This is a really good copy, of a pretty hard to find bootleg. You can get the concert in various versions, boot and release now, but this is the real thing, from the real thing, and if that is what your are looking for this is about as good a copy as you will find I think.
