Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'David Bowie - Aladdin Sane' first press orange RCA 1973 vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD condition.
This particular pressing features the RARE fan club insert, signed by Bowie himself! This was originally a booklet but the other half has been cut off and sent off to sign up to the Bowie fan club way back in 1973.

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - a few hairlines and light scratches, nothing feelable or deep so nothing too serious! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - a few more marks than Side 1 but nothing feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD+.
Audio: AUDIO GRADE TO FOLLOW!!! I have play-tested the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY! Both of these tracks played VERY GOOD+!! A bit of crackle here and there but it was nowhere near overbearing! A deep clean would help with this minor issue.
Inner Sleeve: The original lyric inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD- condition. Unfortunately, there is a 3.5" split to the top and a 3" inch split to the spine. Doesn't affect how the record is housed however! Elsewhere, light creases and edgewear.
Fan Club Insert: The fan club insert is in GOOD+ condition. Unfortunately, there are several creases, folds and rubbing to the edges. It's still considered rare as these were usually pinned to a teenagers bedroom wall and then forgotten about!
Sleeve: The original gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. It is fully intact and houses the record and inserts very well! The front has some light discolouration to the edges, with some light cornerwear. The inner gatefold has two stains to the bottom but it's clean and free from writing or graffiti! The rear of the sleeve is similar to the front with some more marks and light discolouration. The spine is 100% readable with light discolouration and light creasing.

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic David Bowie record that everyone should own!
