Please look at the photographs in the listing, as they form a major part of the description.
Not to be confused with the 'unofficial' (i.e. fake) 3-track record, with B&C labels and numbered CB 200, or the fairly common May 1974 re-issue on Mooncrest, this is the genuine, original and hard to find Arnold Corns single from 1972, and this is one of the earliest copies pressed.
This has the first mother and first stamper (1G) on both sides and so is from the very first batch of approximately 300 copies. And considering that many of those would have been demo/promo copies (pressed with a large A on the label), this 1G/1G 'stock-copy' is rare. This has the first matrix numbers, first mothers and first stampers, making it one of the absolute earliest copies made:
Side 1: CB 189 A - 2U 1 G
Side 2: CB 189 B - 1U 1 G
The disc looks great with just a handful of very fine sleeve-removal marks visible under bright light, but there's nothing significant anywhere. I've listened to both sides and it sounds great with no issues. There is a little bit of background noise in the run-in grooves, but there are no significant issues and both tracks play superbly throughout. I would grade the record (audio and visual) as Near Mint (NM).
The labels have minimal spindle marking, suggesting that the record was hardly ever played.
Comes in the original plain white paper sleeve with exposed flipbacks.
Detracting features not covered above: None.
