DAVID BOWIE ALADDIN SANE
Issue : UK 1st FANCLUB PRESS       Label : RCA       Catalogue No : RS 1001       Matrix : CPRY 4543-3T/4544-3T

This UK 1st RCA press is on the plain bright orange RCA label. It has the very earliest and rare CPRY 4543-3T/4544-3T matrix, the lyric printed inner sleeve and matt gatefold Robert Stace sleeve. It is also complete with the rare original fanclub insert.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has the most sensational gloss, this record has only been played carefully and a handful of times. Every track gleams, there is no sign of play at all, just a few of the very lighest wispy hairlines that look like they are from the card inner. It is is fabulous condition. The labels do have some spindle wear but they are still exceptionally bright and completely clean.
The lyric inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. The white is very clean and the the colours are vivid. The edges are firm, there is just the slightest corner wear.

The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is excellent clarity and audio separation, just very brief moments of the very slightest background hiss, but this is very faint and certainly does not spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point. It is sounds sensational.


The fanclub insert is very solid and the front shows no sign of age. The inside has been filled in by the original owner and the back has a couple of creases and age spots. It is still complete and has no edge wear or splits.


The matt gatefold Robert Stace sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are bright. The inside has been stuck slightly off centre so there is the slightest wear as it stuck above the top edge but this does little to spoil the appearance of the sleeve. The back has a light mark but is still very bright and the whole sleeve is still very solid. The spine is firm with clear text.
