DAVID BOWIE- DIAMOND DOGS - Rare 1st Press Vinyl LP 1974
MATRIX NUMBERS: APL1 0576 A 1 oly APL1 0576 B 1 oly
'Bewitched' not listed on side 1 label. Matt Gatefold sleeve.
Visually the record is in overall excellent condition with some surface scratches and marks. The record is however slightly warped and skips quite frequently at the start of side 1 and side 2. It does settle down and plays through both sides with just noticeable crackle in the quieter moments of the album, more so on side 2.
The gatefold sleeve is in overall good condition with some wear to the corners and spine.
In Summary an opportunity to own a rare Bowie first press from 1974 which could definitely serve as a excellent interim copy in any record collection until something better becomes available.
All vinyl is sent in 12" card cruciform mailers with card stiffeners
Grading as per UK Record Collectors' system.
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Un played should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etcLOW STARTING BID AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A CLASSIC ALBUM..
