 Here is a clean copy of Diamond Dogs by David Bowie on Ryko records. Original US pressing.  This a first pressing of this great LP!  1990 LTD Ed # 2221. Vinyl is clean with no marks and quiet upon play. Vinyl is clear (not yellow as it appears in photos) Cover is clean with solid seams and spine. OBI is solid with no tears or wear.  Labels are free of spindle marks. This copy has been well preserved and comes from private collection played a few times but carefully handled. Both vinyl / jacket are in excellent condition if not NM. Final upgrade copy!

Our Rating system: 

Mint ~ Perfect with no flaws ~ vinyl has never been played or is new / factory fresh / still sealed. Previously owned vinyl is never mint if opened and played.

Near Mint ~ Almost perfect ~ may have been played once and put away ~ no noise during playback ~ no creases or imperfections or age wear ~ still in original shrink ~ no cut out saw marks or clipped corners. 95% of Mint value.

Excellent (EX) ~ Exceptional vinyl records for resale will fall into this category ~ played a few times and handled by careful hands ~ vinyl may show visible hairlines or sleeve scuffs but will have no marks that could affect play.  Covers may have slight traces of age but will be clean and free of age wear. 90% of Near Mint value.

Very Good Plus (VG+) ~ Some signs of wear but nothing to spoil graphics, spine or seams. Vinyl should be clean with some signs of play but handled by former owner (s) carefully and should come housed in sturdy sleeve preferably the original inner. Any marks should be cosmetic in nature with no effect on playback.  Cut – out saw marks, holes, clipped corners, sticker residue or promo stamps may be present but not enough to ruin cover. Spindle marks may be visible and vinyl may have slight “dish” warp that have no effect on sound.  Inner sleeves may have slight wear but no tears or bends. Most used vinyl fits this rating if handled properly. 75% of NM

 Very Good (VG) ~ may have slight surface noise noticeable in quiet parts or between tracks but nothing that overpowers the music. Light scratches (feelable with finger) may be present and audible but none should be continuous. Labels and jacket may be marred by writing or tape Stickers. VG records have been well played numerous times but not ruined and should still be saleable at about 25% of Near Mint vinyl. 

Of course grading is truly objective and subject to personal taste.  Some buyers may be less tolerant than others. Some sellers may be more liberal than others. If purchaser disagrees with our grading of a given item, it may be returnable in the exact condition it arrived in.

Packaging & Handling: Items are packaged in sturdy heavy cardboard mailers designed for LPs. We clean all records with a VPI record cleaning machine prior to carefully inserting the item into sealable plastic (flap sealed) protectors and pack with vinyl OUTSIDE the jacket to avoid splits. We use divider pads to protect the item. All overseas items are double boxed to protect jacket/corners.

Shipping: Items are shipped first Friday after auction closes. We can only ship to a confirmed address through eBay. If you are un-sure, contact them. CONUS items are sent using Media mail ($4) unless otherwise specified. Items with value of  $200 or over are shipped at Priority rates to your location which various rates will apply.  Buyer may opt for Priority or Express if desired. We combine shipping up to 4 lbs CONUS. Rates are reasonable. Anything over 4 pounds gets expensive. Items totaling $400 or over, are express shipped and insured to protect a high dollar investment. Tracking information is provided through eBay for all items invoiced through eBay. Forgotten Sounds cannot control an item once it has left the Post Office. Items shipped out of US to worldwide destinations up to 2 LBS rates vary from 18 - 23 USD. eBay determines rate standards in each invoice. Multiple items over 2 LBS vary from 32 - 37 USD (the weight of 3 or more items.)  USPS no longer offers economy shipping. No surface delivery.  

Returns: We understand that vinyl record grading is objective and sometimes it becomes necessary to return an item that did not meet expectations. Items must be returned in the SAME PACKAGING they arrived in and in the SAME CONDITION they left in. Refunds will be provided promptly upon successful receipt of the item. There is no restocking fee and if it is an oversight on our part we will pay for return shipping, otherwise the buyer is responsible and this is in compliance with eBay rules.
