DAVID BOWIE - S/T 1ST LP on Deram Records - STEREO DES 18003 - RARE + HTF in ANY condition, as they didn't sell a bit in the US; only several hundred of these LP'S were sold in stores (no one knew who he was, and Deram's only artist that did sell (again in limited #'s) at that time in the US was Procol Harum, thanks to a huge hit in 'Whiter Shade of Pale' -the Moodies were still a year away), so most of the copies left are cut-outs or promo copies w/ a hole drilled through - this is one of them.
Vinyl is in great shape - side 1 has a slight rub from the crappy paper inner sleeves used in manufacturing, but isn't a scratch, and doesn't violate the grooves. Side 2 is NM, w/o any detractions. Cover is near perfect in most parts; then there's this wear stuff on the lower left side that I can't identify - might've been moisture, but the paper shows no water marks. Insanely rare in the US in any condition - please see pics, of which there are plenty - ask questions - I'm here to assist!
(I have almost 5,000 records that have been in climate-controlled conditions all through the years, and around 175 to 200 are still sealed, mostly all 60's, mostly psych, pop and Beatles or related, so you might want to add me to your favorites, as I'll be listing several hundred over the next few months. I'm a huge collector, and it's time I downsized some of my collections).
