UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN THICK GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
This is one of Bowie's strangest mid-period releases, a concept album on 1984 that he wasn't allowed to record, so he salvaged the tracks and made this sort-of concept album instead - there is some great content and some weak material, but the best stuff rocks like it should, Rebel Rebel is up there with Iggy Pop's greatest works, and Bowie's melodic sense remains on the track 1984. Every copy, the EMI vinyl remaster, and all the CD issues sound drab and dry, this UK first pressing is the ONLY way to hear this album - it was alive in the grooves once, not quite sure what happened on every subsequent pressing though - grab a UK A1 stamper copy and you'll see what we mean...

DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS WITH A FEW SPOTS OF VERY GOOD+. NO SCRATCHES AND NO NOTICEABLE SPINDLE WEAR, JUST SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES IN PLACES. DISC PLAYS AND SOUNDS AWESOME.
