Description
David Bowie Hunky Dory UK RCA Victor LP Rasputin Fantastic Audio.
Very early copy of Hunky Dory, Mainman on the label but not by this time of release on the album cover itself
APRS 5947 4E etched on run out grooves
APRS 5948 3E on side 2
Vinyl record visually looks fantastic, there are only a few light sleeve removal marks etc nothing nasty or feelable
The record was test played on my Project Essential record deck and there were no skips or sticks,
Nice early deep grooved heavy slice of vinyl which were built to last and they certainly last the test of time
There us a bit of crackle and the odd click here and there...but it's a seminal listen, especially Queen Bitch up nice and loud.
Many Bowie fans believe the 3E/4E pressing to be as good if not better than the 3T pressing...and I can see why, there's hardly any difference in sound quality, yer a big difference in value
The Inner lyric sleeve is in exceptional condition for its age very clean and free of marks. Has a small tare at bottom, see pic
The sleeve is in very very good condition, it still has strong sturdy seams and a decent spine. These covers font usually last well, this one is in fantastic condition
The rear of the cover is nice and clean and still white and doesn't suffer from yellowing.
Please study ALL the pics, I go out of my way to make them as clear as possible so you have a better idea.
I also dont do vague descriptions either, something I hate when trying to buy a record.
Thanks for looking
Record will be sent by Royal Mail signed for
In a proper sturdy record mailer
Cheers folks
