DAVID BOWIE - IN PERSON, October 20th 1972, recording from Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Bootleg red gel album, cover and track list slip. I have personally owned this since new in 1972. Two flaws in the disc itself, two small black specks/bubbles? One doesn't affect the playing of the album at all. The second is part way through the track 'My Death Waits Here', and affects the play by sounding like a scratch as it goes over the bump, this happens 5/6 max times. Can be seen if you enlarge the pic of side 2 of the disc and follow it down. Been like this since new, no other flaws/imperfections/scratches at all on the album. I played this from new until about 1979, since then it has been stored. Paper album sleeve in side the cover has come unglued with age on one side. The orange album cover is intact throughout, just a little dusty/faint marks commensurate with its age. This album is 48 years old! The music on it plays well and is a good solid recording of Bowie at his early best, plenty of chat also. Stereo/TMQ 71054; LP 33 RPM; Oct 1972. 12" LP; DB 528-B. Fantastic album, 90% excellent condition, visibly shows its age well, album in great condition even with the points raised above.
