Description
David Bowie was a cultural chameleon throughout his long and colorful career and always ahead of his time and that’s why I'm listing several of his LP's for Auction. This rare Double vinyl LP is called Images 1966–1967 and is a 1973 compilation album by English singer-songwriter David Bowie. It comprises his 1967 self-titled debut album for Deram Records and various singles and B-sides recorded for Deram between 1966 and 1967. The music was recorded early in Bowie's career when he was influenced by the London cabaret scene and the song styles created therein, particularly the work of singers such as Anthony Newley. The cartoon cover, depicts characters or situations from each song. This compilation gained Bowie a significant 1973 hit, "The Laughing Gnome". Other greats songs on here "Love You till Tuesday" , "There Is a Happy Land" , "Did You Ever Have a Dream" , "When I Live My Dream" , "Little Bombardier" , "Come and Buy My Toys" ,"Silly Boy Blue" , "The London Boys" and "Let Me Sleep Beside You" !
The Cover and inner Lyric sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition(see pictures), Both of the Vinyls are in Excellent condition(few tiny light scuffs, but no scratches).
