Description

Here is Bowie's classic "Lodger" as unique and rare 1991 EMI reissue. The last part of the "Berlin trilogy" is also the last and by far rarest vinyl release in the "Sound + Vision" campaign because by 1991 Ryko had stopped putting Bowie albums out on vinyl while EMI had started to press much fewer copies, focusing on CDs instead. While the last RCA album "Scary Monsters" never came out on vinyl as part of the "Sound+Vision"-series at all, "Lodger" had a very limited run of vinyl manufactured.

This is why this has become a bit of a rarity. "Low" and "Heroes" are also not very easy to find on EMI but "Lodger" definitely is VERY hard to track down.

Why would or should you want to track it down? Well...as usual this version comes with desireable bonustracks ("I Pray, Olè", a 1979 outtake and a 1988 reworking of "Look Back In Anger" with Reeves Gabrels) and additional photos on the innersleeve. Also included are the lyrics.

Condition: Handled with care, cover, inner and vinyl rate as Excellent. There is an old pricetag, that the new owner might want to remove.
