This lp is the 1970 Mercury Records release by David Bowie titled The Man Who Sold the World. It is STEREO, #SR 61325. In the dead wax trail off area, Side 1, it says SR-61325-A-M2. On Side 2, SR-61325-B-M1. This is the CARTOON cover lp release. See the pics for further details (I'll update the photos ASAP!). I'll try to take as many photos as I can of both the jacket & lp so you can read & see for yourself all the details of this amazing lp by David Bowie. As this lp & jacket is appx 46 years old, the description will be as critical as I can be from the VISUAL inspection. I DO NOT have stereo equipment to play this & I wouldn't want to damage the vinyl if I did. The thick, heavy vinyl is VG, clean, bright and shiny (except for a little dust from the magnetic pull of the vinyl). A couple of scratches or marks are visible to the naked eye on Side 1, at the end of track 2 (All The Mad Men) & 1 goes slightly into track 3. These may or may not affect play or may or may not be audible when playing. For serious, deep-pocketed collectors, with the most high-end equipment on the planet, I'm sure you'll experience something when playing (or maybe not, who knows). The jacket is graded only G . The entire top seam is split & it continues most of the way down the entire spine area as well. There are also OBVIOUS dings, marks, damaged corners, & spine area, ringwear, stains on the lower rear, etc., from handling/usage, shelf storage, etc. Again, study the photos as best as you can before making your buying decision. I have a very extensive collection of records (over 250,000) in warehouse storage & haven't even begun to tap into the rarities I own. But now David's death is the last straw for me. I'm going to dig & dig this year until my head explodes. THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Buyer pays the S&H. The S&H choices for the USA only are media or priority shipping is available at a higher cost. International rates vary by country.
