Description

This is an absolutely stunning original copy of the UK Mercury pressing of The Man Who Sold the World with the famous dress cover.No6338041. This record was bought new in 1971 from a record shop in Portobello road London that I was working at, and is a genuine original item with the textured cover, black labels and machine stamped matrix numbers.

This record has been really well looked after and stored in a plastic cover. The sleeve is in near mint condition and looks really fresh and vibrant.There are no tears or splits anywhere. There are no marks or scuffs or storage wear anywhere on the front or back and only the very slightest signs of wear on one corner. The spine is neat and intact and clearly legible and the opening/leading edge is still crisp and neat. Without doubt this is as near mint as you are likely to find.

The album itself is in near mint condition,and has absolutly no marks or scuffs at all. I have only played this album a handfull of times,there are a few spindle marks around the central hole,but very few

Grading very strictly as this is a very rare item, visually I would grade the vinyl as excellent, and to play I would grade it also excellent. Coupled with the near mint sleeve this is a superb copy.

All in all, this is a stunning copy of one of the most famous collectables.This item is a true gem.
