Description
This is a gently used 12" vinyl LP with the original PS (picture sleeve jacket) titled DAVID BOWIE Narrates Prokofiev's PETER AND THE WOLF. This is the original FIRST PRESSING on GREEN vinyl from 1978 on RCA Red Seal. It's #ARL 1-2743 Stereo. The original insert is included & is in very good condition with yellowing from aging. The original inner sleeve is also included. See the pics for further details. The vinyl is VG+ or slightly better. It's very clean & shiny and still has the magnetic pull to it when pulling it out of the inner paper sleeve. Like all vinyl, there may or may not be some surface noise when playing. By the looks of the vinyl under a strong light, I see a small fingerprint smudge on Side A. I doubt seriously this will affect play but it may or may not, so this disclaimer is needed. This is sold as is. I don't have the equipment to play test the record so this is graded under a strong light. I suggest to PLAY IT LOUD! If you're a serious collector with a record cleaning machine or good cloths & proper record wash, that always helps. The red labels with black lettering & white record company logos are very clean. NO spindle marks on them. The inner sleeve with plastic lining & record company advertising is in very good condition (NO seam splits). The cardboard jacket is in G+ or better condition with minor dings, marks, etc., around it from handling. The top rear of the jacket is damaged & has some peeling & chipping along the seam. Otherwise NO split seams. There is some spotting on the front on David's face when angled under a light. For some unknown reason, the open end of the jacket sits opened wider than most jackets usually do. I can't figure out why. As of this writing, this record is appx 44 years old. I'm very cautious when grading & very critical about it. I may overstate some of the conditions but better safe than sorry! THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Shipping is FREE media mail in the USA. International buyers pay for shipping & rates vary by country. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IF ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS WILL BOTHER YOU OR BE A PROBLEM FOR YOU!
