Description

You are bidding for an ORIGINAL 1973 MINT copy of DAVID BOWIE'S PIN-UPS. I bought this on it's release and, as I always did in those days, immediately put it into a polythene sleeve, (which is still sellotaped to the inside of the sleeve).  It sounds as it did on the day I bought it, a superb example of this classic LP!

I try to grade my records as accurately as possible and obviously want to give 100% satisfaction to my buyers. I have played and listened to this album on a ION Profile deck whilst converting it to itunes. I have graded using the Record Collector grading system as follows:

MINT: THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE  MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND ANY EXTRA ITEMS, ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.

EXCELLENT: THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND PACKAGING MAY HAVE SLIGHT WEAR AND/OR CREASING.

VERY GOOD: THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE  NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AN OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER AND CONTENTS WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS IS ACCEPTABLE.

GOOD: THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES. THE COVER AND CONTENTS SUFFER FROM FOLDING, SCUFFED EDGES, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLOURATION ETC.

The LP sits nice and flat on the turntable with no signs of warping.

Side 1: MINT

Matrix number RS1003 -A-2T with (2) A1 K

Not a single mark or scuff, label clean as a whistle without any spindle marks. Audibly brilliant

Side 2: MINT

Matrix number RS1003 -B2 UT with (2) DA2 K

Same as side 1, not a single mark or scuff, label clean as a whistle without any spindle marks. Audibly brilliant

Insert an Inner Sleeve: MINT

Both mint without any tears or marks, the inner sleeve is slightly yellowed.

Sleeve: MINT

As already mentioned it is still in the polythene sleeve that I put it in nearly 40 years ago so mint. It has the original distributors sticker on it with the following details:

Record Merchandisers Ltd, RS 1003, £2.38 with the release date of 25 Oct 1973. Also in pencil on this label is a circled 696. Which I can only presume is a copy number or suchlike. I think that this sticker adds to the authenticity of this MINT item and should NOT be removed.
Postage and payment details:

I will send the album in a quality cardboard album mailing envelope, with extra cardboard inside. If you are an international buyer please wait for my invoice so that I can add postage to the winning bid. I will also, if requested add insurance, if that is the case then let me know and I shall invoice you with details. If not satisfied I will refund 100% of your money, however the buyer will pay postage as well as insurance if required.
Check out my 100% feedback on other rare albums sold, and good luck.
