Pretty rare Triple-LP box set containing the albums "Lodger", "Heroes" and "Low" - Comes with one insert with track listings and picture on the other side. I have play tested all of three of the records and will do my best to document condition, I have also included pictures of each side of each record so please look at those as well. Disc 1 (Lodger) is in overall Very Good (VG) condition. There is surface noise to varying degrees throughout and the records do show wear. Overall plays back at a solid VG, no surprises - Disc 2 (Heroes) has some pretty serious scratches on side 1 (see pics) but it actually plays back better than one would expect considering the couple fairly deep scratches. There are NO skips/loops/repeats despite the scratches and while the scratches are sometimes audible they do not ruin the listening experience. Side 2 of Disc 2 is in VG+ shape and is actually quite nice. Disc 3 (Low) is also VG all around. The box shows wear and has multiple small dings, some dents and has slightly come apart at corners but is still in one piece and is overall still very functional. So, I have looked at past sales and current other sets like this for sale and set the price to, what I believe, is very fair considering other past sales and current listed prices of this set. This is not a "mint" condition set but it is a great 3 record set for the Bowie fan who is most interested in actually playing the records for the music while also owning a fairly rare collector's set.
