Description

This is an excellent collectors' copy of the very rare and long-OOP 1990 Ryko Analogue's remastered vinyl release of Bowie's 1973 "Pinups" album on beautiful transparent CLEAR vinyl, part of Ryko's then-current David Bowie "Sound and Vision" remastering and reissue campaign. This is Bowie's awesome covers album, a tribute to his favorite mid-60s British Invasion bands, doing his inimitable versions of The Kinks, The Who, The Pretty Things, early Pink Floyd, the Easy Beats, etc. It was also the last recording with Mick Ronson and the Spiders From Mars group, the last gasp of Bowie's glam era. This Ryko reissue contains 2 vinyl bonus tracks, "Growin' Up" and "Amsterdam", a particularly cool acoustic tune. 
In my private collection for 15+ years, very sparingly played, vinyl in VG+/NM- condition, plays excellent, very clean. The gatefold cover, with lots of bonus pictures of Bowie from the era, is also in very good condition, very little normal shelf ware.
