Description

Up for auction is a nice, original pressing of the David Bowie album "Scary Monsters" originally released in the U.S. on RCA Records (AQL1 3647) in 1980.

-Guaranteed original pressing -STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax
-A2 first pressing etched in deadwax
-Original black RCA labels -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-Original matte finish cover
-No UPC/bar code on cover -NOT record club pressing

Note: Most copies for sale on eBay are not original pressings--they have different catalog numbers, and the covers have semi-gloss finishes, not matte like this one.

Condition:
Cover looks very nice, no significant signs of wear.  No ring wear front or back.  Seams are nice, no splits.  Corners nice--one has a small bump (see photo).  Overall, a very attractive, colorful original in nice condition.
Grade: Excellent Plus (EX+)

Vinyl looks very nice, still has its original shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some very faint, superficial signs of having been taken out of inner sleeve a couple times.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Vinyl looks like it's maybe been played only once or twice previously, but handled with care.  Well preserved original.
