DAVID BOWIE 7": Space Oddity - no Maximillion text.

Another overlooked Bowie rarity.

Although this looks almost identical to the Number One single from 1975 (and has the same 1E/1E matrix numbers), this copy does not have the white Maximillion text on either of the push-out centres.

It comes with a 1970s RCA 'Promotional Copy' sleeve. I don't know whether this was originally intended as a promotional copy, because regular 'A' label copies with the Maximillion text are fairly common, but it is another scarce label variant, and is the only one of these I've seen.

The record has few signs of use, and I would visually grade it around Excellent.
