David Bowie returned to relatively conventional rock & roll with Scary Monsters, reworking glam rock themes with avant-garde synth flourishes, and reversing the process as well, creating a dense but accessible set.
Though it doesn't have the vision of his other classic records, it wasn't designed to break new ground -- it was created as the culmination of Bowie's experimental genre-shifting of the '70s.

Clean, unmarked labels a few light spindle traces on Side One, a few more on Side Two
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are clean - some hairlines are visible on Side One but none of these have any audible significance
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Superb sound quality - crystal clear, sharp, rich and finely detailed - impressively recorded and engineered and my play-check at volume found practically nothing to fault.
The (very) occasional tiny one-off tick was noted but no scratches, loud clicks or pops or any discernible surface noise - plays beautifully
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
A fine example - little wear to speak of - all edges are crisp, square and unworn and all spine text is clear and bold
INSERT: NEAR MINT
The gatefold lyric insert is clean and unmarked with only light signs of handling
