Up for auction here is "Sound & Vision" the 6 LP boxed set by David Bowie on the Ryko label. I bought this set last year from an audiophile who sold off his vacation home (which meant he didn't need his second record collection anymore). I'm sure if he played it all, it wasn't more than once...... he had all the Bowie records anyways. The LPs are immaculate NM (and likely unplayed). The 3 gatefold covers are NM. The box is in excellent condition. The plexi/plastic cover shows some very slight scuffing. The inside top lip paste-over could be re-glued, but that is the only minor flaw. The paper slide-on corner cover is also in nice condition.
Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $20 to Canada and $40 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $5 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
