David Bowie, The Laughing Gnome c/w The Gospel According To Tony Day

This is the original 1967 pressing which can be distinguished from later copies by the inverted matrix number above the DM 123 catalogue number.

Visually the record could be considered 'good' as there are lots of hairline scratches often found with pressing of this vintage. You can hear the crackle associated with the records condition in the quiet passages.  For the A side this is mainly the run in and doesn't really affect the actual track.. The B side is a much quieter track and therefore the noise is much more obvious.

However, both sides play through without any skips or sticks and the audio quality is very good.

It has the factory sleeve but this is torn and needs replacing!

So in essence we have a very rare Bowie pressing that is more than acceptable as a collection filler and after factoring the condition is listed here with a very low start price.
