Description

You are bidding on a copy of David Bowie "The Man Who Sold The World" LP, this is the original U.S. pressing on Mercury Records and is NOT the bootleg version that seems to be plentiful in large numbers (this has the etched matrix number and placement of the "Oh By Jingo" bubble very close to the song lyrics on the back cover which are both hallmarks of a legitimate copy), the cover has NO cutout drill mark but has top and bottom splits along with initials written on the back and a mark from where a price tag was placed along with a few other slight flaws (all shown in pictures) would grade cover G+, the vinyl is VG in appearance and plays between VG/VG+ (no skips with some crackle in the quieter parts).  In short if you're an audiophile looking for a top copy this is not for you but for the buyer who wants a better than average play copy of the legitimate version (with the bass that'll rumble your walls, if you've heard it you know what I mean) but who doesn't want to pay $150 and up for what an EX/NM copy would cost then this may be the copy for you.
Record will be packaged in a cardboard mailer with cardboard inserts for reinforcement and shipped by USPS Priority Mail Insured with a tracking number for a much quicker arrival and less exposure to the heat in transit.
Payment is by Paypal with a confirmed address ONLY and this auction is only open to buyers in the United States.
Lastly, there are NO returns so please ask any questions before you purchase.
