David Bowie's first single release of the 70's, which was to become, his 'big era' !

Marc Bolan plays the legendary guitar part on this early classic

Written (allegedly) about Angie Barnett, his then girlfriend, soon to be his wife

Resurrected as a track on the 1973 album, 'Aladdin Sane' with Mick Ronson's unforgettable guitar playing! 

'The Prettiest Star' b/w 'Conversation Piece' released in March 1970

Mercury label, Catalogue Number MF 1135 (6052 011)

Comes in mustard/yellow company sleeve, record has no centre (this release never did)

Vinyl (both sides) in near Mint condition

Label is very clean and tidy condition

Sleeve is in excellent condition
