DAVID BOWIE YOUNG AMERICANS
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : RCA Catalogue No : RS 1006 Matrix : RS 1006 A-1E / B-2E
This UK 1st press is on the plain bright orange RCA label. It is complete with the very earliest and exceptionally rare RS 1006 A-1E / B-2E matrix, the original inner sleeve and Robert Stace sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are just a couple of wispy marks, but these are insignificant, the vinyl is superb. The label is also sensational, the orange is exceptionally bold and the text is immaculate. There is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is excellent clarity and audio separation. There are moments of very slight noise but these are just static or dust as there is no wear to the grooves or significant markings at all. It is a pleasure from start to finish, the sound is superb.
The Robert Stace sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The sleeve is extremely clean and bright, the image is unworn and the text is sharp. There is just the slightest edge and corner wear and a tiny scuff in the corner. The colour is bold and the back of the sleeve is equally bright. The whole sleeve solid and the spine is very firm with clear text.
