Description
DAVID BOWIE
Title : Ziggy Stardust Label : RCA Cat No : SF 8287
Matrix : BGBS 0864 - 1E / 0865 - 2E Issue : Complete 2nd press
This is the complete 2nd press of 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars' by David Bowie. Just the same as the 1st press, this album is complete with the rare early features. The record is pressed on the heavy original vinyl, not the flimsy 'dynaflex' reissue, the record has the original 'Titanic Music' lyric inner and the original matt Robert Stace sleeve. There is no 'Mainman' credit on the press at all.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a superb high gloss with just a few very light hairlines. On playing the sound is warm, vibrant and very clear. The orange RCA labels sensational. They are completely clean. The orange is vivid, the white is bright and the black is bold. The text is perfect and there is no spindle wear. The 1st press 'Titanic Music' lyric inner sleeve has some edge wear but is still solid and bright.
The matt Robert Stace sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the image is bright. There is just light ring and edge wear. The white text is sharp and the opening edge is firm. The whole sleeve has remained in very solid condition.
