FLIP BACK SLEEVE.
IMPOSSIBLY RARE.
Chinese pressings are among the hardest pressings in the world to find.
Unlike the Japanese the Chinese did not pride themselves on the way
they manufactured their records. And this one is no different .The sleeves
are always different to most other countries this one as you see is the blue
monochrome flip back .
The sleeve has a few stains front and back visible if you double click the
pictures but considering the simple rarety of Chinese pressings this quality
is perfectly acceptable even to the more decearning collector.
Chinese pressings are THAT RARE ! They never show up for sale.
The more serious Bowie collectors keep them tucked away in their
collections, and due to their rarety look at these items with pride.
The record lables are simple but interesting to collectors due chiefly to
piculiarety of the lack of information they hold.
(look at them,interestingly weird).
This is due to the way the liscencing and recording writes differ in China.
The record is a thick slab of old style vinyl with a much heavier mix of
Shellac than most normal 70s vinyl.(feels good to hold).
It has a few hairlines but nothing serious and plays very well.
Condition of the vinyl is Very Good ++.
I have no doubt in years to come when these seriously rare Chinese pressings
are better known by more collectors their value is sure to soar.
I know many Bowie collectors holding very fine collections, and many
don't have this. WHY ?
This would enhance any Bowie collection....
This is my last Chinese pressing of the Diamond dogs LP,
so one thing here is very certain, it will be a long, long time before you ever
see another.
