DAVID BOWIE - Rare ORIG 1st 1967 DERAM Mono LP
David Bowie was released in the UK on 1st of June 1967, the same date of release as The Beatles, Sgt.Pepper`s Lonely Hearts Club Band. One big difference is that Sgt Pepper`s sold Millions of copies but David Bowie sold very little due to bad management, poor advertising and marketing! It was issued in the US in August 1967, minus "We Are Hungry Men". This auction is for the US first release. Because of the failure of this album there arnt many around.
So here it is! One of the rarest lps ever made!
US Mono Edition

Cover notes:
Front Cover is in good condition with great color. The back is also in excellent clean condition with just some minor discoloration. Minor corner creasing. Split edging on about 50% of the edge. Usual edges, face and spine wear. (see pics) The vinyl looks visually in great condition with some light surface marks. Original inner sleeve. Keep in mind I am not a grader so PLEASE use the pictures for you condition judgement. I did my best to research and describe everything but we may differ on opinion.

Vinyl notes:
It has been play tested before listing on my Technics 1200 turntable. I forgot how great this album was musically. The album has slight warpage only noticable when played on side two. It does not effect playback. There is a rash mark on side one and some light scratches on side two. I could not detect any noticeable sound issues as a result of these marks.
Results-
-Side 1-
Absolute minimum noise on the run in to this side, just a few tics before the first track starts. Hardly any background noise during playback, some slight his and pop between a few tracks. Apart from these very minor faults the rest of this side has incredible playback very little background noise at all. NO SKIPS.
-Side 2-
Slight background noise during playback. This side has more minimal background noise than side one with most confined to track 2. Some hiss and pop between tracks. NO SKIPS.
