UP NEXT - JUST A FEW MORE VARIOUS COLLECTABLE 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES! This is an original 1967 U.S. Barry Records 45 RPM record containing the tunes titled 'Drown My Heart'/'My Foolish Heart' by David Coleman with The Hector Rivera Orchestra. It is Barry Record catalog number BRY 1013. Both of these songs are nice midtempo 'Northern' tunes with a slightly Latin feel. Condition of this record is about VG with a fair amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play, and a couple of light surface scratches which can be felt and which may cause some extremely light ticks. Record also has a couple of other flaws which have no effect on play - There is a small chip at the outer rim on the A-side which does not come close to reaching the play area, and record also has a subsurface crack which extends outward from the label for about 2/3 of the width of the play surface and does not reach the outer rim - This feature only becomes apparent upon close scrutiny, cannot be felt on either side of the record, and again has absolutely no effect on play. Record plays through very nicely with some light scattered surface noise and the aforementioned very slight ticks. Both labels have some contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws. I am starting this record out at a modest opening bid price due to the moderate condition issues, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its ultimate value. This 45 would be a choice rare addition to any 'Northern Soul' 45 record collection!
