DAVID COVERDALE - WHITESNAKE ORIG. UK 1st PRESSING

Hello, my name is Dave and I am about to list almost all of my 30 year+ music collection. Most of it is rock based, but there will be a few bits of other stuff too. As you will see from my 100% feedback score, I deal fairly and honestly and try to make your buying experience as pleasant as possible. I do have a full time job and also enjoy a lot of time with my family. This means that on the odd occasion, I can take up to a week (maximum) to post a particular item - although about 90% will be sent within 2 days of payment. I will do my best to answer any questions and cater to any reasonable requests if I can. You can rest assured that everything will be very securely packed and I always keep proof of posting until goods safely delivered. If any issues do arise, then please contact me before leaving any feedback and I will always endeavour to resolve.

This is the very 1st UK pressing on the Purple label of David Coverdale's Whitesnake album. The matrices are A - 1U and B - 1U, and also has "A Porky Prime Cut" and "Masteroom" etched into the deadwax. There is no possible earlier pressing than this. It is also on top quality thick vinyl, which guarantees stunning sound quality that is so much better than any digital reproductions that have been made since. Needless to say it will blow away any reissues and later pressings too. The vinyl does not look as though it has ever been played, it is so gorgeous - not a single mark or hairline to be seen anywhere, even when examined under a very strong halogen light. Both the beautifully textured outer cover and thick card inner sleeve are also in beautiful condition, practically mint !! I would go so far as to say you will never find a better copy of this great record ever !!! So there you have it. Thanks for looking, Dave.

IMPORTANT !! Basically, I described this item as not having a single mark at all. I have re-examined it and seen that there are a few very insignificant tiny tiny wispery flecks that are only visible under the strongest of halogen lighting. Can only be due to sleeve removal by myself over the years when checking on my collection. I still believe it has not been played, but I think it only fair and honest of me to highlight this discrepancy in my original description. It is still a stunning looking record which I believe you will not find in any better condition. Apologies for any inconvenience caused to bidders and potential bidders. Regards, Dave.
