There are many different pressings of this album in a broad range of prices currently listed on Ebay, but this one is worth taking note of. If I Could Only Remember My Name was David Crosby's first solo album and is one of the great unheralded "rock" albums from the early 1970s. This is the Classic Records reissue from 2009, remastered and pressed on 200-gram vinyl. It sounds awesome. Crosby's supporting cast includes such musical luminaries as Neil Young and Graham Nash; Michael Shrieve and Greg Rolie of Santana; Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead; Paul Kantner, Grace Slick, Jack Casady, and Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane; and Joni Mitchell, among others. Both the record and gatefold cover are in beautiful near-mint condition.
