LISTEN TO THIS!!! "I Lie" seems to be almost entirely unknown and it is an ABSOLUTE MONSTER stomping northern soul dancer. There's hardly any info at all to be found about this obscure Los Angeles 45 out there. Nice stabbing horn arrangement and a pounding backing track. Listen to this below if you don't know it! Don't miss out, this 45 does NOT turn up often and "I Lie" has got MASSIVE potenital.
David Del Conte is the same guy that in 1969 released an ULTRA RARE private pressed LP as Damon called "Song Of A Gypsy" on the ANKH label in 100 copies. The 45 up for grabs here was also private pressed, and judging by its utter obscurity it would surprise me if it was pressed in many more copies than that rare LP!
